Privacy for Prayer, Notes & Reading

Trust & Standards

Bleno devices are designed so Scripture reading, prayers, notes, journals, and imported reading materials can remain private on the device. Core functions can be used offline, and internet access is optional. Bleno does not access or review private on-device content in normal use. Optional services follow clearly defined provider and data boundaries.

Can I use Bleno completely offline?

Yes. You may choose to use Bleno without connecting it to the internet.

Core on-device reading, handwriting, note, prayer-journaling, and planning functions are designed for offline use. Private content used or created in this mode remains on the device and is not sent to Bleno while the device is offline.

Features that depend on external email, cloud storage, downloads, synchronization, updates, or another network service require a connection. Enabling those services is your choice.

Can Bleno access my prayers, notes, or reading content?

Bleno does not access or review private content stored on the device through normal product use.

Private device content includes prayers, journals, handwritten notes, highlights, reading annotations, and locally stored reading materials. Bleno is designed without a normal staff-facing product feature for browsing that private content.

This commitment concerns private device content. It is separate from information you deliberately provide through an order, contact form, support request, or optional online service.

What happens when I choose to connect?

You decide whether to enable an online service.

A connected feature may process limited operational information needed to provide the feature, maintain security, deliver updates, diagnose a problem, or complete an action you request. Depending on the feature, this may include an account or device identifier, software version, synchronization status, error information, connection timestamps, and support records.

Operational information is different from the content of private prayers, notes, annotations, and reading materials. Connecting the device does not by itself give Bleno staff general access to private on-device content.

Where do Bleno-operated device services run?

When you enable an online device service operated by Bleno, that service uses infrastructure hosted in United States data-center regions by established cloud-service providers.

This statement applies specifically to Bleno-operated device services. It does not mean that every website, store, payment, shipping, email, or user-selected cloud service uses the same infrastructure or data location.

Those services are governed by their respective providers and applicable terms.

What if I connect my own email or cloud account?

If you connect an email account or cloud-storage service that you already use, that provider handles information according to your account settings, permissions, security controls, retention practices, and privacy terms.

Bleno does not obtain a general staff-facing channel to browse the content of that third-party account merely because you enable an integration.

You should review the settings and privacy terms of any provider you choose.

Does Bleno process any personal information?

Bleno may process information that you intentionally provide to receive a specific service.

For example, joining a waitlist, placing an order, requesting support, registering for an optional service, or choosing to send diagnostic information may involve contact, shipping, order, account, service, or diagnostic data.

The Bleno website, online store, payment processor, shipping provider, email service, and other service providers may also process information under their own terms.

This operational information is separate from Bleno accessing or reviewing private prayers, notes, journals, and reading content stored on the device.

What choices do I have?

You can choose the level of connectivity that fits your practice:

  • Use the device fully offline
  • Enable only the online services you want
  • Connect an email or cloud provider you already trust
  • Review that provider's permissions and privacy settings
  • Stop using a connected service when it no longer serves you

Bleno will explain any future feature that requires private content to leave the device before that feature is enabled.

What should I know about the Bleno website and store?

Information submitted through getbleno.com—such as a waitlist signup, pilot inquiry, support request, or order—is separate from private content stored on a Bleno device.

The website and online store use Shopify and other service providers. Website, order, payment, shipping, analytics, and support data are governed by Bleno's formal Privacy Policy and applicable provider notices. These services may use infrastructure and processing locations different from Bleno-operated device services.

How does Bleno handle organization deployments?

Organization-provided teaching materials are handled separately from user-created content. By default, a sponsoring organization does not receive access through Bleno to a user's private prayers, notes, highlights, annotations, or reading content.

Any future sharing or administrative feature will identify what information is shared, with whom, and for what purpose before it is sent.

For partners serving in restricted or sensitive regions, Bleno does not publish identifiable partner names, precise locations, device counts, deployment details, or images without explicit permission and a safety review.

Is this the complete Privacy Policy?

No. This page is a plain-language explanation of offline use, connectivity choices, and access boundaries.

The formal Privacy Policy provides the complete legal notice for Bleno's website, store, support channels, accounts, and online services. The terms of any user-selected email or cloud provider also continue to apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use Bleno without an internet connection?

Yes. Core on-device functions are designed for fully offline use.

Can Bleno staff read my prayers or private notes?

Bleno does not access or review private content stored on the device through normal product use, and the product is designed without a normal staff-facing feature for browsing that content.

Is internet access required?

No. Internet access is optional, although features that rely on external online services require a connection.

No blanket claim applies to every service. Bleno-operated device services use United States regional infrastructure. The website, store, payment services, and user-selected email or cloud providers may follow different terms and infrastructure practices.

That would be too broad. Bleno and its providers may process information deliberately submitted for an order, waitlist, support request, account, or optional online service. This is separate from private on-device content.
